WDCL Chess League

WOLVERHAMPTON and DISTRICT CHESS LEAGUE (founded 1945)


About us

The league consists of around 17 local clubs who compete from September to April each year in our various divisions and cups. We try to create both a friendly but competitive atmosphere between the various teams. The league was formed after the end of World War Two and we have now completed over 80 successful seasons.
